What Quietly Remained

A question can rest overnight without being abandoned or forced into an answer.

R Richard Nkwenti 1 min read

At the end of the day, the loudest opinion often loses its authority. Applause fades. Anxiety grows tired. The rehearsed explanation no longer has an audience.

What quietly remained for you? A hesitation in the body, a sense of widening, a sentence that returned each time the room became still. Do not force it into a conclusion tonight. Let it be information before it becomes instruction.

Wisdom is patient with what has not yet found language. Sleep can hold a question without solving it. Place yours gently at the edge of the night and allow tomorrow to meet it with clearer eyes.
