Midnight Note

No More Refreshing Tonight

An unanswered question can wait without another visit to the screen.

R Richard Nkwenti 1 min read

There may be an answer you have checked for several times today. Each return to the screen offers the possibility of relief and, sometimes, another stretch of waiting.

If you can leave it for the night, decide when you will look again. Let that small arrangement hold the question for a while. You do not have to feel unconcerned in order to put the device down.

Something unresolved can remain part of your life without occupying every available moment of the evening. Give yourself that possibility gently.
