Use the Broken Map
A broken plan can become an honest map for the next journey.
Failure leaves behind a map marked with roads that ended, bridges that could not hold, and distances you misjudged. It is not the map you wanted, but it contains knowledge success could never have given.
Study it without making it your identity. Where did preparation thin? Which warning was ignored? What strength appeared only after the plan collapsed?
The broken map cannot take you backward. It can make the next journey more honest.
Fold it carefully and begin again. Experience is not proof that you should stop traveling. It is evidence that the road has finally taught you something imagination could not.
