The Morning Oracle

The Pace of Roots

Durable growth often begins below the reach of praise.

R Richard Nkwenti 1 min read

A tree spends years doing work that no passerby applauds. Beneath the ground, it learns the weight of weather before reaching for height.

Your unseen seasons are not empty. Skills deepen before recognition arrives. Character forms while the opportunity is still distant. A quiet foundation gathers strength without producing proof on demand.

Resist the temptation to dig up the roots merely to confirm that they are growing. Tend the conditions instead. Give water, attention, practice, and time.

What is durable often begins beyond the reach of praise. Let this morning belong to the work that future branches will depend upon.
