Close the Day Deliberately
The ability to stop with intention is part of the ability to continue.
A disciplined life includes an ending. Without one, work leaks into rest, worry remains on duty, and tomorrow begins inside today's exhaustion.
Create a small closing ritual. Put away the tools. Name what was completed. Write the first task for morning so the mind can stop guarding it. Lower the light.
Completion is not required for closure. You are marking a boundary in time, telling the body that effort has ended for now.
Protect this transition as carefully as the beginning of work. The ability to stop is part of the ability to continue.
