The Morning Oracle

Bravery Without an Audience

A brave life is built through private choices too important to avoid.

R Richard Nkwenti 1 min read

There is a kind of courage that will never be photographed. It happens when you tell yourself the truth before the world is awake. It happens when you return to the page, the practice, the difficult conversation, though nobody has promised a reward.

Public bravery is easy to recognize. Private bravery is often mistaken for an ordinary morning.

Let that free you. Your next courageous act does not need to look historic. It needs to be honest. Stand where your values can find you. Make the call. Begin the work. Withdraw your agreement from what diminishes you.

A life becomes brave through choices too small for spectacle and too important to avoid.
