A Day Can Be Enough

Meaning enters a life through the accumulated quality of ordinary presence.

R Richard Nkwenti 1 min read

Purpose does not require you to save the whole world before sleep. The measure of this day can be smaller and more human.

Did you bring care to one task? Did you leave one person less alone? Did you resist one impulse that would have made tomorrow narrower? Such acts rarely look like destiny while they are happening. They become a life only through accumulation.

Release the hunger for a dramatic summary. The day has already entered the story through the quality of your presence.

Let enough be enough tonight. Meaning can continue without being forced to prove itself before the lights go out.
