On Movement and Progress

Motion is not the same as direction.

R Richard Nkwenti 1 min read

Busyness is the most comfortable substitute for progress, because it feels nearly identical from the inside.

The question that cuts through it is not *am I moving?* but *am I moving toward something I chose?* Motion without direction is just noise with effort attached.

Pause long enough to name the direction. Then the movement can mean something.
