Love Must Become a Verb

Love becomes trustworthy when feeling accepts the discipline of form.

R Richard Nkwenti 1 min read

Love may begin as feeling, but it becomes trustworthy through form. It learns a person's fears without using them as weapons. It keeps a promise after the tenderness of making it has passed. It tells the truth before resentment has to shout.

Offer love a body today. Give it time, attention, protection, or an honest boundary. Let it become visible in the details another life can actually receive.

Grand declarations have their season. Most hearts are sustained by quieter evidence: the remembered need, the softened voice, the repair made without being begged for.

Choose one act through which affection can become shelter.
