The Inner Room
A quiet place you can return to without going anywhere.
There is a room inside you that no one else can enter, and that nothing external can furnish for you.
We spend much of life trying to fill it from the outside — with approval, achievement, noise, company — and it stays empty, because it was never built to be filled that way. It was built to be inhabited.
Sit in it for a few minutes today. Not to achieve anything. Not to improve yourself. Simply to be present in the one place that is entirely yours. Notice that it is quiet. Notice that you are still here.
Nothing needs to be solved right now. Rest in the room.
There are rooms within us that noise cannot enter. Sometimes healing begins when we finally become quiet enough to find them.
