You Are Not Behind

A short note for anyone who measures their life against someone else's clock.

R Richard Nkwenti 1 min read
A lone traveller with a backpack looks out over a winding road through a vast valley at sunrise.

There is no schedule you are failing to meet.

The feeling of being behind is almost never about time. It is about comparison — the quiet arithmetic where someone else's visible progress becomes the ruler you measure your hidden work against. But their timeline and your timeline were never the same instrument.

You are allowed to arrive at your own hour. Ripeness is not late. It is simply ripe.

Ask a different question today: not *am I where I should be?* but *am I becoming who I intend to be?* The first question can only make you anxious. The second one can actually be answered.
