What You Release Makes Room
You cannot walk toward a larger life while carrying every old weight. Sometimes release is not loss. It is preparation.
You cannot walk toward a larger life while carrying every old weight.
Some things belonged to an earlier version of you. Some people walked beside you only as far as they were meant to. Some doors closed not to punish you, but to protect what is still becoming.
Do not confuse release with failure.
There are things we outgrow without ever needing to hate them. Dreams that once gave us direction. Relationships that once gave us warmth. Places that once felt like home.
Their ending does not erase their meaning.
But yesterday should not be allowed to consume the space tomorrow needs.
So this morning, loosen your grip on what has already completed its work in your life.
You do not have to throw it away in anger.
You can thank it.
You can bless what was.
And you can keep walking.
Release is not always loss. Sometimes, it is preparation for what could not enter while your hands were still full.
