Reflection

Urgency Is Also an Argument

Before obeying urgency, ask who benefits from your haste.

R Richard Nkwenti 1 min read

Urgency does more than accelerate a decision. It argues that reflection is dangerous and delay is weakness. That argument deserves examination.

Some doors truly close. Others are held open by people who benefit when you have no time to think. A wise decision can survive one clear breath, one careful question, one night without pressure.

Who gains from your haste? The answer may reveal more than the offer itself.
